Experience UGA seeking Volunteers

The Office of Service Learning is planning an Experience UGA field trip for Clarke County second grade students. The field trip will take place over 4 days in April (7th-10th) during National Public Health Week. Each of the four days UGA will host ~250 students as they rotate through 4 stations focused on health. The four stations are: Physical Activity, Nutrition, Hand Washing & Germs, & Bullying Prevention.

UGA undergraduates and graduate students: volunteers are needed to teach as a Station Leader, lead as an Event Guide, or document the experience as an Event Photographer during one or more sessions of the trip. If you are interested, please contact MPH Candidate Deenene Chandler at deenene@uga.edu. Volunteers will not be required to develop any materials on their own--standards based station lessons will be provided.

A great opportunity for students - a meaningful volunteer experience to gain skills, expand your network and help your community. Sign up today.
