Jack Hill

Director of Development - Strategic Initiatives

Jack Hill joined Franklin College's Office of Development in December 2025 as Director of Development - Strategic Initiatives. In this role, he helps lead major gift fundraising efforts and strategic development initiatives across the college. 

Jack brings a decade of advancement and sales experience to Franklin, including three years in higher education and six years in private sector B2B sales. Most recently, he served as Associate Director of Philanthropy for Corporate and Foundation Relations at North Carolina State University, where he focused on major gifts while building strategic partnerships across multiple colleges. He developed expertise in corporate relations, foundation funding, and strategic initiative development. Prior to that role, Jack worked at NC State's College of Veterinary Medicine where he led the annual giving society and closed leadership and major gifts. 

Jack holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Gardner-Webb University and a bachelor's degree in finance from Mississippi State University. Jack and his wife, Maggie, live in Athens with their two dogs, Olive and Angus.
