Administrative Services
OIT offers administrative services such as handling logistics for equipment allocations, administering the college-level student technology fee allocation, and processing off-campus inventoried equipment forms. Franklin departments may contact the Assistant Dean for Information Technology to discuss IT matters such as policies, major projects, and the classification and compensation of IT professionals. The Administrative Specialist in OIT will assist departments with use of UGAmart and processing off-campus inventoried equipment forms.
Allocations
The Administrative Services team works with Franklin units and the Dean’s Office to coordinate the allocation of student technology fee funds and college-level allocations for instruction, research, and administration. Find out more about student technology fees and equipment allocations.
Purchasing
Administrative Services approves purchase requisitions funded by the student technology fee and college-level equipment allocations.
IT requisitions and projects that exceed $10,000 require completion of the CESS (Computer Equipment Software or Services) process. Please complete the CESS process in UGAmart prior to initiating the purchase requisition(s). Off-campus Inventoried Equipment
Administrative Services processes authorization forms for all inventoried equipment used off-campus by faculty, staff, and students in Franklin College. Please review the following documents and use the following forms to request off-campus use of UGA equipment.

The campus-wide Faculty Activity Repository serves as a data warehouse for faculty achievements in instruction, research, and service. Faculty and staff may contact Christine Miller, cemiller@uga.edu, with questions and requests regarding this system. Department Heads upload annual letters of evaluation to the Franklin Annual Review system.
Department Heads use the Faculty Hires system to submit detailed faculty recruitment requests to the Dean’s Office.
