Franklin OIT offers workshops and training for Franklin College's faculty, staff, and graduate students by request. Workshops are typically held in the Gilbert Hall lab (room 113) or locally in departments where appropriate technology is available.  In addition, Franklin OIT provides referrals and/or partners with other training and development resources to offer workshops as needed.

Typical workshops include tools support for campus-supported desktop and instructional technologies, software support, pedagogy support, and information about emerging trends in teaching with technology.

Benefits of Service: 

These workshops benefit Franklin College faculty and staff by providing information on a variety of instructional technology subjects.  It also provides a forum for faculty and staff to discuss ideas and real world applications in a collaborative forum.

Requesting Use and Support: 

Franklin College faculty and staff can contact the Franklin OIT Helpdesk to request a workshop.

Current Rates for Service: 

Workshops led by the Franklin OIT Instructional Technology team are free for all Franklin College faculty, staff and graduate students.

Workshops hosted by Franklin OIT, but led by an external instructor may incur a fee.
