As an instructional technologist, Beth works with faculty on the use of technology to facilitate and enhance teaching. She provides training and support for current instructional technologies including eLearning Commons, podcasting, and clickers, as well as video conferencing and classroom audio-visual equipment. Beth is available to consult with faculty, departments, and units within Franklin College regarding best practices and standards for integration of current and emerging technologies in the classroom.
Beth completed her undergraduate studies at Agnes Scott College with a B.A. in physics and music. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia having completed a M.Ed. in instructional technology. Prior to joining Franklin College, Beth spent over 10 years working in the field of instructional technology serving several private and public higher education and K-12 institutions. Currently, Beth is actively involved in a number of campus technology organizations including UGANet, ITMF, and EdTech. She currently serves as chair of UGA EdTech and vice chair of ITMF.
